No need to panic. You can have your tickets printed for you at any available ticket booth located at the Front Gate, after passing through the security screening. Please present your order confirmation number and a photo ID.

Don’t Pay Full Price

Paying at the gate is pretty much the only time you’ll need to pay full price at Knott’s. Use one of the discount options on the Knott’s tickets page to get your tickets online in advance to save a significant amount of money and avoid waiting in ticket lines.

Avoid Crowds

Mid-week is least crowded, but during the school year has the shortest open hours, so you get less time for your money. On days when the park is open late, wait for the last hour to ride the rides with the longest lines, since half the people clear out an hour or two before the park closes.

Fast Lane for Some of the Group

The Fast Lane wristband can save you a lot of time waiting in line but can be pricey, especially on peak days. You don’t have to get Fast Lane for your whole group if not everyone wants to ride the extreme rides. One really good use of Fast Lane is when you have only one or two people who want to ride the bigger rides.

Parent Locator Service for Lost Kids

Many families will have a special appreciation for this "parent locator" service.

Parent Trade Off with Fast Lane Option

Like most parks these days, at Knott’s parents with children who are too small for the ride can wait in line together, then when you get to the ride, one parent waits with the children not riding, while the other parent rides, then when the first parent gets back to take the kids, the second one can ride.

Map Apps to Use On Site

Google Maps on the iPhone identifies the major rides, so it works better than the Knott’s iPhone app or printed map for finding your way around the park. Bing Maps Birds Eye View is one way to get the best aerial views to see the rides on a computer.

Check the Ride Names and Height Restrictions

There are 40 rides at Knott’s Berry Farm. If you don’t know the names of the rides, it’s hard to figure out what’s what on the map. If you know the name of the ride you’re looking for, it’s much easier (although still sometimes confusing) to locate it on the map and find the entrance.

What is included in Knott’s Merry Farm?

During the holiday season, everyone will enjoy Knott’s Merry Farm. Included in the park admission are holiday-themed shows, nightly snow fall and meetings with Santa. Naturally this time of year will bring in additional crowds.

Where to eat on Beach Blvd?

There are several noteworthy places to visit on Beach Blvd, within walking distance of the Radisson Suites hotel. Grab a burger and drinks at Rock & Brews, located directly across the street from the Radisson (they’re open late). For dessert hit up Porto’s Bakery just down the street. There are also two dinner shows, Medieval Times and Pirate’s Adventure Dinner. Plan your evening so that you are allowed time the day before your Knott’s Berry Farm visit to work in some of these other attractions!

Can you ride Fastlane on Knott’s?

The wristband offers unlimited access to popular rides like Xcelerator and Silver Bullet. My 6-year old was able to ride Jaguar! three times during our visit, with no wait being longer than a few minutes. FastLane can be purchased on the Knott’s website or at the park.

Does Camp Snoopy accept Fastlane?

There’s no way to speed up the lines in Camp Snoopy. None of the rides in this area accept FastLane, so your only choice is to wait in queue. In fact this is one thing that needs improvement at Knott’s Berry Farm. However, I do have some tips on making the most of the Camp Snoopy area with your young visitors.

Can you ride Camp Snoopy with your kids?

Immediately upon entering the park, turn right and head into Camp Snoopy. There are several rides that adults can go on with their kids (like Camp Bus and Grand Sierra Railroad). Other rides are only for the kids and they do have height restrictions (like Huff and Puff and Woodstock’s Airmail). This mean that your older children might be too tall to ride with their smaller siblings.

Is Fright & Fast Lane Worth It?

Here’s the good news about Fright & Fast Lane: The pass gets you unlimited priority access to all mazes and unlimited priority boarding on all Fast Lane rides. It’s a lifesaver on very crowded dates, saving you hours from waiting in lines all night. On peak nights, long wait times for the mazes make it impossible to complete the park without the pass.

How early can you go to Knott’s Scary Farm?

Beat the crowds and arrive at Knott’s Scary Farm as early as you can. We recommend getting there at least 1 hour before opening (by 6:00pm) to give yourself enough time to deal with traffic, parking, and get ahead of the long lines at the entrance.

Check the Crowd Calendar to find out if it’s worth splurging for or not. We think Fright Lane is a must on “Forget About It” dates and also recommend it on “Yup, It’s Packed” dates. If you’re going on a “Hey, It’s Alright” date, the pass usually isn’t necessary.

Is the Fright and Fast Lane pass out?

General admission tickets and Fright & Fast Lane Passes can sell out on peak nights (especially Fridays and Saturdays in October), so be sure to buy your tickets early and in advance online. Plus, prices are usually cheaper online than at the gate and you won’t have to wait in line at the ticket booths. It’s a win-win.
