Allen Smith’s Moss Mountain Farm in Arkansas that I learned that the host of the Garden Home television series opened his house and gardens to visitors. My daughter and I went on a tour in June. The drive from Little Rock took about 30 minutes and we arrived as scheduled at 11:00 a.m.

Enjoyed our visit to P. Allen’s farm, we did get to met him and he’s very welcoming and just like he is on PBS/TV. We were allowed to roam all over the farm, tour his home and he signed a book for use and we go out photo taken with him. Nice staff and we would recommend a visit there. Nice opportunity.

The public roads are paved.The internal roads of the farm are gravel. the gravel was not a problem for driving a normal passenger vehicle. If a guest were in a wheel chair or was using a walker, the gravel might be a bit difficult to navigate.

There are areas that would definitely be difficult and probably inaccessible. You would miss the house, rose garden and some others. I would weigh how much you want to see with the cost and inaccessible areas. My father is 80 and walking down one of the gravel paths was very difficult.
